You should not have this treatment if:

Absolute

• You have allergy to Hyaluronic acid
• You are pregnant or breast feeding.
• You are predispose to hypertrophic scars or pigmentation disorders
• You have skin lesions that may be caused by an abnormal cellular proliferation process.
• You have hereditary or acquired haematological/Coagulation disorders.
• You have an acute and/or systemic infection.
• You are on anticoagulant treatment.
• You are suffering from severe metabolic or systemic disorders.

Relative

• You have Malignancy particularly with haematological or bony involvement, metastatic disease.
• You have autoimmune diseases
• You have taken within 3 days, aspirin or other medications that alter platelet function (Plavix, Omega 3, Vitamin C)
• You have recent fever or illness
• You have Anaemia (<10g/dl)

At the beginning a small amount of blood will be taken from your arm and then put into a centrifuge machine where the blood is spun at high speed to separate the red blood cells from the platelet rich plasma.

With the use of Cellular Matrix™ technology, our doctor will then inject the PRP-HA to the chosen area with the use of one of the world’s most modern Mesogun U225. The gun will deliver the PRP-HA with multiple superficial microinjections (2mm in Depth) precisely into the skin of treatment area, at up to 500 injections per minute.

Due to the unique precision of the U225 Mesogun, the procedure is PAINLESS and the sensation is similar to touching with no local anaesthetic required.

Improvement is noticeable immediately post treatment, but for optimum result DR SHUN recommend a full Course of 3 treatments (3 sessions at an interval of 30 days) Then maintenance treatment 1 session every three months.

• DO NOT Wash treated area for at least 4 hours post treatment
• DO NOT Apply full make up for at least 24 hours if possible.
• DO NOT Drink alcohol 48 hours post treatment
• DO NOT Take hot bath or freezing temperature for 48 hours post treatment.
• DO NOT use saunas or steam room for 48 hours post treatment.
• DO NOT Expose to excessive sunlight for 48 hours post treatment & until bruising subsides.
• AVOID exercise or any strenuous activity for 48 hours. Exercise will cause you to sweat and excrete the solution out the pores of the skin and reduce its effectiveness.
• Please use a high factor sun protection at all time.
• Please always make sure that hands are clean before applying anything to the treated area.
• Please drink plenty of water to maintain hydration

• As with any injectable products: Haematoma or Bruising at the injections sites
• Heat & superficial tension on the skin surface: These transitory feelings arise from the triggering of the bio-stimulation process and should disappear within a maximal delay of 24 to 36 hours after the treatment. If symptoms persist longer then contact your medical practitioner.
• Very rarely and for allergy-prone patients due to a higher inflammatory response than normal, oedema (swelling due to fluid retention) may occur. Inform immediately your medical practitioner if it happens.
